Individual Education Plan (IEPS)

Every year an IEP is drawn up for each pupil by the class teacher .The teacher gathers information from Parents, Clinicians, Staff members , Therapists and any other relevant persons , and then uses this information to establish goals that the pupil can work on in the current academic year. These goals are mainly related to the school curriculum but may also include goals that the Parent may like the child to achieve on a personal level at home.

They may also be goals that involve the input and support from clinicians and therapists.

IEPs are structured to take place during the first term of the school year and a review is then scheduled for the last term.

The teacher encourages all Parents to be involved in the planning and setting up of goals for their child and to attend the IEP meetings.
