Multi-Disciplinary Team
The school has a multi-disciplinary Team who work with school staff to provide in –class support and advice as the need arises and occasionally see pupils on an individual basis. The Team also work with the Parents providing support and advice.
The team consists of a Psychologist, Psychiatrist, Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, and Physiotherapist.
The MDT meets every month to discuss and review individual pupil’s educational and care needs and address any current issues.
Information is shared with the school staff and parents to ensure a collegial and integrated approach to the pupil’s educational and health care needs.
Parents are given the opportunity to meet the members of the MTD at any IEP (Individual Education Plan) meetings.
If Parents have any particular concerns they are encouraged to contact the MDT members directly.
